A ground-fault occurs when there is a break in the low-resistance grounding path from a tool or electrical system. The electrical current may then take an alternative path to the ground through the user, resulting in serious injuries or death. The ground-fault circuit interrupter, or GFCI, is a fast-acting circuit breaker designed to shut off electric power in the event of a ground-fault within as little as 1/40 of a second. It works by comparing the amount of current going to and returning from equipment along the circuit conductors. When the amount going differs from the amount returning by approximately 5 milliamperes, the GFCI interrupts the current.

We have found that most appliance repairs run between $100.00 and $200.00, but the cost of your repair will depend on the repairs needed. The technician will always give you an estimated price in writing, and get your approval before starting any work.

Each part we install, and its related labor is warranted for 90 days of normal household use. If any part we install in your appliance fails during your warranty period, simply give us a call! We will quickly replace the defective parts at no charge!

Service Call

How does this Free Service Call thing work?
When you book an appointment with us, we will send an expert technician to your home, and give you a complete written estimate that includes all parts and labor required.
If you have your technician complete any repair, the service call charge is waived! You only pay the flat rate price quoted! Technicians never add any diagnosis fees, hourly rates, or travel charges.
If you decide not to have your appliance repaired, we only charge $49.95 for the service call and the estimate.
